Building Connections, Driving Growth: Chamber in Action Recap for March

First Annual Fishing & Kayak Expo 2026: A Reel Success!

Fishing & Kayak Expo 2026: A Reel Success!

The first annual Fishing & Kayak Expo 2026 was held on March 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sponsored by Big Bass USA and Big Adventures, the event proved to be a fantastic day for outdoor enthusiasts and the local business community alike.

With approximately 30 vendors on site and nearly 400 attendees going through the doors, the expo showcased a strong and growing interest in fishing, kayaking, and outdoor recreation throughout our region.

Attendees enjoyed a wide variety of outfitters, vendors, and manufacturer booths, along with hands‑on rigged kayak displays, exciting casting contests, a popular door prize, and much more. Food vendors helped round out the experience, making it a fun and engaging day for all ages.

Thank you to our vendors, sponsors, and everyone who attended—we look forward to building on this success in the years ahead! Congratulations to Mike Stein who was the door prize winner!
