Be Active - Update

Great work team!!!

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Be Active Wisconsin Challenge.  Out of the 40 communities that took part in the challenge, West Allis-West Milwaukee was 1st in participation with 134 people, ranging in age from 3 to 83!

Our participants averaged over 520 minutes per week, which had us ranked in the top 2 as of 3/28.  We will find out in the next week how we finished.  We will make sure to let everyone know on our social media pages, so keep an eye out!

Special Events

Did you know that the WAWM RCS Department is working with the Easter Bunny this year to bring COVID-safe alternative events to our community?
You've Been "Egged!"
"Egged" started on Monday, March 29th and will end on Friday, April 2nd.  It's not your traditional "egging," it's one your family would enjoy!  The WAWM RCS Department and the Easter Bunny traveled to homes in the WAWM community and provided them with their very own Easter Egg Hunt at their homes.

A huge THANK YOU to all the WAWM RCS team members and the Community-Based Transition Program who helped stuff eggs and help create these awesome "You've Been Egged" yard signs.
Easter Scrambler
Looking for another fun, family event to celebrate the holiday?  Come to Nathan Hale High School on Saturday, April 3rd for our very first Easter Scrambler from 10 am - 12pm.  The Easter Scrambler is an Easter-twist on a Trunk or Treat.  Participants will visit "Egg Stops" created by local businesses and organizations and receive an Easter Egg as well as some other goodies.  The Easter Bunny will be at the event, ready to smile with you and your family.  Limited spots are still available for this FREE event.  Pre-registration is required.  Register online at  Don't be late for this great event!

Thank you to our sponsors, Waterstone Bank and EXP Realty, and thank you to our participating Egg Stops, West Allis Library, Girl Scouts, Sodexo, Root River Realty, Transaction Skate Shop, West Allis BID, Hunger Task Force, Rotary Club, Beyond Stem, Swaye Tea, Prime Technique Dance Academy, CAAD and Upper Iowa University.
