We look forward to welcoming you to the Museum of Art in April. Two new exhibitions have opened in the past month: Flora et Fauna: Nature in Ancient Mediterranean Art and Culture and Reimagining Our Américas: Empathy and Activism Beyond Borders. We know you will enjoy seeing these beautiful and thoughtful installations. This month the Museum is hosting an assortment of exciting public programs. Related to the current exhibition about Monhegan Island, be sure to come out to hear photographer Accra Shepp on April 10 and printmaker Barbara Putnam on April 17. In addition, Ben Dewar, a scholar of ancient Assyrian art and literature at London’s Institute of Classical Studies, will be on campus on April 17 to deliver this year’s annual Yadgar Family Lecture. We will also host a colloquium related to Irreplaceable You: Personhood and Dignity in Art, 1980s to Now on April 26. There is always something interesting to learn about and see here at the Museum.

We hope to see you soon!
