How to Stay Safe and Support the KOP Community During the COVID-19 Shutdown
We at King of Prussia District are incredibly concerned for the health and well-being of the employees and residents within our district during this uncertain time. Our first priority is to do what we can to limit the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) by monitoring and adopting the recommendations from public health officials. The old adage “knowledge is power,” has never been more appropriate. Heeding the most recent recommendations will #flattenthecurve and lessen the impacts on businesses, employees and residents.

The Community Comes Together to Support Those in Need
In the wake of the international pandemic that we are experiencing, the King of Prussia community has stepped up to support one another. We’d like to shine a light on some of the businesses and organizations giving us hope and reminding us what it means to truly come together with compassion and love during what, for many, is a scary and uncertain time.

Pick-up Your Favorite Eats
While restaurants and bars in Montgomery County may be closed for in-store service, KOP restaurants are stepping up to continue to serve customers. This is a great way to come together and support restaurants while complying with safety and health regulations during this trying time.

Introducing Our New Events Coordinator
King of Prussia District is excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Alison Kahan! Alison joined King of Prussia District as our Event Coordinator, a brand new position for our organization, just two weeks ago. In this role, Alison serves as the point person for our many events throughout the year. She has quickly become an integral part of our marketing team during this trying time, jumping into rescheduling our Spring in-person events while planning a new series of virtual events.

We are excited to have Alison on board and look forward to working with her to level-up King of Prussia District's events!

Important Event Announcements
Due to continued social distancing orders and in order to help keep our community safe, we are postponing our April and May Food Truck Tuesday events. We look forward to rescheduling these in the fall.

Additionally, our 10-Year Anniversary and Awards Gala, originally scheduled for May 7, will also be rescheduled for later in the year.

Finally, after much thought, we have decided to take a one-year break from our beloved signature event, King of Prussia Beerfest Royale in 2020. Given the current events, we feel it is imperative to allocate our financial and staff resources to promoting KOP’s incredible retail, dining, hospitality, entertainment, commercial office, residential and industrial community through a robust and aggressive marketing campaign that will roll out once these clouds have lifted. We look forward to bringing back Beerfest in 2021, but our focus now is coming through this pandemic as a united community and helping everyone get back on their feet.
