Thankfulness isn't just for November!

The staff at GardenShare is going to be taking time each Thursday in April on our social media channels to thank the individuals, businesses, and foundations that support our work. It's important to us to recognize the donations of time and finances that help to keep GardenShare at work.

There is a quick and easy way that you can help us thank them as well as helping GardenShare. When you see our posts on social media, take a moment to like the post and comment if you can. This tells the social media channel that our followers are interested in our content, which encourages the social media algorithm to continue showing our posts to people.

You can find our Facebook page here and our Instagram page here. If you're not currently following us, we would be so thankful if you would!

Opening Days!

Our favorite time of year is almost here! The opening days for the spring farmers markets are set and our producers are working hard to get ready for their customers. It's also a great time to sign up for a CSA for the summer!

CSA information and vendor applications are now available on the GardenShare website!

This cost-sharing program makes fresh, healthy food more affordable for low- to middle-income families in St. Lawrence County by providing up to $300 in Bonus Bucks for purchasing a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share or Farmers Market purchases.

EchoLab, an artcollective based in Rochester, is currently conducting research and gathering narratives for Watershed Movements, a project exploring the connections between storytelling, river health, and human well-being.

On Saturday April 5th, they will be in Potsdam facilitating a participatory exercise that combines surveys, storytelling, and guided movement to explore these themes. Participants will be compensated for their time, and we are eager to hear diverse perspectives on personal relationships with water bodies.
