National Child Abuse Prevention Month

This month is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. According to Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, in 2020, there were 11,455 confirmed victims of child abuse.

63% of those cases were due to neglect and 13 % of cases featured one or more forms of abuse.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month was created to bring awareness to the numbers and to also inspire others to get involved with providing safety and security to children in need.
