April is National Volunteer Month
Strengthening Our Community Through Volunteering
As National Volunteer Month winds down, we want to thank the many generous people who share their time and energy to help Behringer-Crawford Museum preserve and present the natural, cultural and visual and performing arts heritage of our region.
According to the Kentucky Nonprofit Network, the average value of just one volunteer hour in our state is $21.42. But the value to BCM and the communities we serve is incalculable. Our volunteers for the annual Holiday Toy Trains donated a total of 1421 hours this past season -- that's worth nearly $29,000!
THANK YOU to the volunteers who greet our visitors, answer our phones, lead our tours, teach our young guests crafts, work at our concerts and so much more. We couldn't do it without you.

If you or someone you know wants to make a big impact on the community with just a few hours of volunteer time, give us a call at  859-491-4003.  We have just the job for you!
