Introducing our new Network Manager
We are pleased to welcome Cora Preston as the new Network Manager for the Robert and Patricia Switzer Foundation. The Network Manager position was created to manage the foundation’s communications as well as cultivate Switzer Fellows’ engagement as participants, contributors, and leaders of the Switzer Network to advance the mission of the Switzer Foundation.

Fellowship interviewers needed
We could still use more volunteers for Fellowship interviews on May 14th and May 21st! Interested fellows, please fill out this Google form - this will help us create balanced interview teams that represent a spectrum of career and personal demographic characteristics. In order to form interview teams that are truly representative of the Switzer Network, we are especially in need of more fellows of color to be on interview teams.

Sign up or contact Erin for more information.
Professional Development Funds available
Professional Development Fund (PDF) grants of up to $1,000 can help cover the costs of a training, workshop or other professional development opportunity. Recent recipients have used the funds for grant writing and drone technology training, leadership coaching, and developing personal and professional skills such as racial equity issues, navigating change and mindfulness-based stress reduction. This is a great time to take advantage of these awards, as there are so many online offerings these days!

Breakthrough Collaboration on Environmental Problems
