MI OER Network participates in MHEC Midwest Regional Summit


Members of the MI OER Network gathered in Chicago with other midwestern OER colleagues in January as part of the MHEC Midwest Regional Summit. The summit provided an opportunity to learn about OER work happening across the Midwest and also work together to plan and strategize on the future activity of the Network. OpenCon Ohio 2024, May 17th


OpenCon Ohio 2024, a free, virtual event, will take place on Friday, May 17. During the preceding week, there will be 19 asynchronous lightning talks available for viewing and discussion on Discord. Friday, May 17 will be live, with two keynote presentations about AI and open education, a 45-minute birds of a feather event, and a one-hour panel discussion on automatic textbook billing.


The registration deadline is May 10, 2024 at 12:00pm ET.

OpenEd Conference Logo

The 2024 Open Education Conference (OpenEd24) will be held as a hybrid event, with in-person attendance hosted in Providence, RI, USA, and virtual attendance welcomed from across the globe. As the conference’s 21st annual gathering, OpenEd24 will continue to deliver an engaging virtual event with the option to attend in-person for the first time since 2019.
