Spring is in the air!

I have started to see the crocuses and tulips starting to make their way through the hard winter ground. I can't wait to start planting in the small garden outside my apartment.

National Poetry Month

Submit Haiku

I thought for this month it might be fun for all of you to send in a HAIKU in celebration of poetry month. Here are the rules.


Line 1: 5 syllables

Line 2: 7 syllables

Line 3: 5 syllables


Submit your Haiku and it will be shared on the PCL Teen Instagram page. All submissions will be anonymous unless otherwise noted.

National Arab American Heritage Month

Also this month we are celebrating Arab American heritage month. Challenge yourself to find an author or story that you have never read to celebrate these wonderfully rich cultures. Below are some of the resources we have.
