Dear Library Patrons,
Explore More This Spring with Museum Passes from the Belmont Public Library
Building off the highlights from our February newsletter — which introduced some exciting new museum passes — we thought that with spring (almost!) in the air, now would be the perfect time to remind you of all the wonderful adventures waiting just outside your door. If you're looking for a fun, affordable way to explore Greater Boston, the Belmont Public Library offers free or discounted passes to an amazing variety of local museums and attractions.
Whether you're an art lover, science enthusiast, nature buff, or history fan, there’s something for everyone in your household. With your Belmont library card, you can:
Passes can be reserved up to 60 days in advance, and most are available as either printable or physical passes. Supplies are limited, so we encourage you to plan ahead and reserve early. Visit our Museum Passes page to start your next adventure — all thanks to your library!
This program, along with the funding for many of our programs and events, is made possible by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library — a dedicated group of volunteers who have supported the library for over 50 years. The Friends are currently seeking new board members to help guide their mission and support the exciting opening of the new library building later this year.
If you're passionate about libraries and community service, we invite you to consider joining the Board. Elections for a new slate of officers and directors will take place at the Friends’ Annual Meeting on June 12, 2025, at 7 p.m.
Interested? Email Cyndi Reitmeyer at belfriendslib@gmail.com or attend the next board meeting on April 10, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the Select Board Room at Town Hall.
Kindest Regards,
Peter Struzziero
