From the Director's Desk...
|
Everyone has a story. Every family has one, too. I recently read a book titled Small World by Jonathan Evison. Mr. Evison weaves together several American family stories that converge in a train wreck and wend away from each other. I think it could be a great American novel similar to John Steinbeck's and F. Scott Fitzgerald's works, among others. It's been a while since a novel made me think the way this one did.
CPL will be having a "Food for Fines" week from March 29th to April 5th. This runs up to the Election and Budget Vote Day on April 5th. Even if you don't owe fines, you are welcome to bring in unexpired, non-perishable items to donate!
