 Happy and Healthy Holidays

Viruses Don’t Make Good Holiday Gifts 😕

Respiratory virus illnesses like flu, COVID-19, and RSV are more common in colder months. By following a few easy tips, you can help keep everyone healthy and safe this holiday season.

  • Talk to your healthcare professional or pharmacist about getting vaccinated.
  • Wash your hands often and cover your coughs and sneezes.
  • If you’re sick, stay home and away from others until your symptoms are improving for 24 hours and you’re fever-free without fever-reducing meds for 24 hours.
  • Take extra precautions around people at higher risk for getting sick, such as older adults, young children, people with weakened immune systems, people with disabilities, and pregnant people.
  • If you’re at risk for severe illness and you have respiratory virus symptoms, seek care and treatment right away.
