A Great Start to the School Year! 🦈💙

Dear Aquidneck Families,

We are off to a GREAT start at Aquidneck School! It has been wonderful welcoming our students back into the building and seeing their excitement, smiles, and enthusiasm as we begin another year of learning and growing together.

A special THANK YOU to our amazing parent volunteers who generously gave their time to weed, clean up, and beautify our school gardens and grounds before the start of school. Your hard work made such a difference and helped make Aquidneck look beautiful and welcoming for our students, staff, and families.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a school community that is always willing to pitch in and support one another. It truly takes a village, and our Aquidneck families are an important part of what makes our school so special.

Thank you for helping us start the year with such positive energy. We are looking forward to a wonderful year together!

Here’s to a great year, Sharks! 🦈💙

Warmly,

Erica

Middletown Family Day is a free, beachside celebration hosted by the Middletown Prevention Coalition and sponsored by Saccucci Honda. This event brings families and neighbors togetheebr for games, music, and fun, family‑friendly activities that enhance family connections that support a safe, healthy, and drug‑free community. Now in its 17th year, the event builds on the National Family Day movement launched in 2001 by Columbia University which focuses on simple practical strategies that build strong relationships within the family. The movement champions healthy communication and family activities like regular family meals and time together as powerful ways to strengthen parent/child relationships and build trust and resilience. Youth who are connected to family are less likely to be involved in risky behaviors.
