Greetings Families,

Homecoming week has been full of learning and spirit here at Aquila! Tonight, we'll celebrate with the annual Aquila Resource Fair, which is an opportunity to check out some of our community partners. Tomorrow evening, our high school football team will play Cooper in our homecoming game. We also look forward to seeing you next Friday, 9/27, at our PTO-sponsored Back to School dance.

Please read the information below about the Minnesota Free Schools Meal Program. If your student gets a school lunch - which is free to all students - in the cafeteria, milk is included. If your student brings a lunch from home and wants only milk from the cafeteria, it has to be purchased for $.60.

As we get used to school drop-off and pick-up routines, we ask that you DO NOT make u-turns during drop-off and pick-up. This holds up traffic and can create dangerous situations for our community. Thank you!

Bus App Information

Your student's bus information is available using the My Ride K-12 app. You can access your child’s transportation schedule, bus routes, and real-time updates directly from your phone. Log in to the My Ride K-12 app (replaces Traversa Ride 360 app) with your existing account credentials. If you do not have the app, it is available for free on both the App Store and Google Play.

You may need your student's student number which is a six digit number and can be found in your PowerSchool account or contacting the front office staff.

Picture Day Info

Minnesota Free Schools Meal Program

The Minnesota Free School Meals program provides state reimbursement to schools that participate in the National School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program. Our schools already offer healthy meals each day. All in-person students can get one breakfast and one lunch free of charge while at school - no application is required.

What is not included in the Minnesota Free School Meals Program?

Single item purchases. Some examples include:
A second carton of Milk
Snack Items
Second Entree
A Second Breakfast or a Second Lunch
Ala carte Items

For your student to purchase these items families should open an account through Wordware/Edutrak or PowerSchool and deposit funds into the student’s meal account.

Homecoming Information

Information for the 2024 Homecoming Football Game on Friday, September 20 at 7:00PM

Tickets will ONLY be sold online, no tickets will be sold at the game.
Online ticket sales will end at 3:00 PM TODAY, Thursday, September 19.
Any child in 8th grade or below must be accompanied by a paying adult who is responsible for them, their behavior and their whereabouts at the event.
The student must be in the bleachers unless with the accompanying adult.
No bags, backpacks or outside food/drink will be allowed in at home football games and there will be no reentry.
Entry will stop at the end of the second quarter.
