March 6, 2025

Greetings Aquila Community,

As you've likely noticed, Aquila is officially under construction. Students and staff are excited by the changes we are seeing outside, and we are all looking forward to Aquila's new spaces. Although construction started as soon as possible after the permitting process, we wanted to share our new timeline with each of you. Aquila's internal spaces that are being modified are slated to be finished in time for students and staff to return in September 2025. We will be moving into our new structures (new kindergarten wing, music room, learning commons and flex space) over winter break during the 25-26 school year.

As we move into March, we wanted to remind you of our morning timeline. All students should arrive between 7:25 and 7:45 am. If you are dropping your student(s) off any later than this, we ask that you park in our lot and walk them in. The reason for this is that students are considered tardy after 7:45 am, and need to be signed in. We want to support students arriving on time, ensure that they are able to move into the academic day with their peers, and prevent unnecessary absences (5 tardies = 1 absence).

Paz,

María & Olivia

Calling All Creators, Dreamers, and Inventors!

Does your child love to dream big and bring their ideas to life? Then the Imagination Fair is the perfect place for them to shine!

Imagination Fair projects truly have no guidelines other than safety and respect. It can be an art project, a science idea, or simply informational if there's a topic that gets their brain moving. These projects can be done in groups, too!

If your child is unsure about participating, but wants to explore the Imagination Fair, please join us! Students do not need to participate to enjoy the evening. All are welcome to stop by between 6:30-7:30 pm on Friday, March 7, to check out all the student-powered projects.

Click on the link below to register, which ensures there's a table/space for your child's project:
