October 2, 2024

Greetings Aquila Community,

Happy October! We ended September on a high note with our PTO-sponsored Fall Dance last Friday. Many thanks to everyone who attended and worked to make the dance a success. This month, our community will hold its first all-school assembly recognizing Hispanic Heritage and Anti-Bullying.

Additionally, we are looking forward to seeing you for Family Connect times and our Scholastic Book Fair on October 15 & 16. If you haven't had the opportunity to sign up for a connect time, you can do that here.

As we move through the year, we want to be sure that all families are aware of our procedure for alerting us to any changes in afterschool plans for your student. If your plans for afternoon dismissal change, please call the front office by 12:00 PM. Teachers are not able to check email or answer their phones while teaching.

Paz,

María and Olivia

District News ~ National Principals Month

As we recognize National Principals Month, we want to extend our gratitude to the incredible leaders who guide our schools each day.

Our principals are the heart of our school community, nurturing a space where staff, students, and families feel supported, safe, and inspired.
