Greetings Aquila Community,
Last night, our 5th grade class shared their brilliance, showcasing their research findings through written reports, oral presentations, and creative multimedia displays. A celebration of learning, Exhibition provides students the opportunity to select and research a topic of interest and share their knowledge and achievements. During the exhibition process, students showcase their understanding of IB and utilize all of the IB learner attributes by enhancing their research, analysis, communication and presentation skills. Students use the knowledge gained from their research to make positive changes in their communities and beyond. Congratulations to each of our fifth graders for their Exhibition accomplishments, and heartfelt gratitude to our families and teachers.
As we look forward to the next couple of weeks, please check the calendar for opportunities to connect!
Paz,
María & Olivia

Each season our Girls on the Run team completes a Community Impact Project to support our community. This season, the team has decided to host a lemonade stand with proceeds going directly to STEP – St. Louis Park Emergency Program.
Please stop by our lemonade stand on Tuesday, May 27 from 2:45-3:45 pm and have a glass of lemonade in support of STEP – St. Louis Park Emergency Program. Our stand will be located alongside the trail off 31st Street, just steps away from Aquila! Lemonade will be $2 per glass (cash or Venmo) or you can donate a non-perishable canned good in exchange for a glass of lemonade.
Unable to stop by our lemonade stand on Tuesday, but still want to participate?
You can either:
- Drop off a non-perishable canned good in the front office in the box labeled "Girls on the Run canned food drive for STEP" through Friday, May 30.
-
Contribute to the project by sending a Venmo to head coach Jacey Cassem at @Jacey-Cassem. Last 4 digits are 3898. Please note GOTR Community Impact Project on the Venmo.
