Arbor Day Tree Giveaway

In celebration of Arbor Day, the Plainfield Park District is giving away approximately 300 trees (Bur Oak, Red Oak, Swamp White Oak, Pecan) between noon and 3 p.m., April 26 in the parking lot of the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center, 24550 W. Renwick Road in Plainfield. The giveaway will occur in the north parking lot.

Great Adventures Preschool

Registration for the 2024-25 school year is now being accepted for Great Adventures Preschool! Great Adventures offers young children opportunities for social, intellectual, physical, and emotional growth through a balance of both child-led and teacher-guided play. 

DuPage County River Sweep

Join the Plainfield Park District and Conservation Foundation on this annual river clean-up event 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., May 4 at Eaton Preserve. This event empowers residents to improve local rivers by removing trash from DuPage County waterways.

Mother's Day Tea & Paint

Give mom the gift of quality time with you this year for Mother's Day with a little paint, tea, and fun 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 11 at the Plainfield Township Community Center! Each participant registered receives a canvas to paint on. Refreshments are provided.

Mother-Son Superhero Night

Moms and sons enjoy a night of dancing, games, crafts, and hanging with an awesome superhero 6 to 8 p.m., May 17 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center! No onsite registration. Price is per couple. Additional child may be registered for $10.

Tiny Tots Soccer Camp

In this camp running June 3-6, our youngest players aged 3-6 embark on a delightful four-day adventure into the world of soccer! This dynamic camp is specially crafted to introduce budding athletes to the joy of this beautiful game in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Taekwondo

Taekwondo for ages 4-and-up is running Saturdays, June 15 through August 17 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center. Taekwondo offers a variety of benefits for people of all ages and physical abilities. Registration opens May 6 for residents and May 13 for non-residents.

World of Food Trucks

Experience cuisines from around the world with your favorite Chicagoland food trucks 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 18 at Bott Community Park. General admission is FREE; however, please register a free electronic ticket so we have a headcount for public works/safety and can plan accordingly.
