Greetings from the Arboretum!
As the entry to 2026 is just over the horizon, we want to take a minute to once again thank our members, neighbors, and friends for their continued support. To parents who believe in our mission and trust us to teach their children about the natural world at camps and after school programs, we thank you. To animal sponsors who see the benefits of our education ambassadors and want to help us care for them, we thank you. To families and individuals who attend our weekend programs in the name of nature conservation and sustainable outdoor recreation, we thank you. To volunteers who put in hours of work with day-to-day Arboretum tasks and larger events, we thank you. To our donors new and returning year after year, we thank you.
It is because of you that we are able to continue our mission of forest restoration, conservation, and environmental education for the community. Entering the new year, we have plans for new events, camps, and programs as well as continued conservation efforts. We encourage you to read more about these plans in our Annual Appeal, and donate if you are able. Tomorrow is the last day to contribute for 2025 tax credits. The Cora Hartshorn Arboretum is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
