Lady Titans Wrestling Team Makes History
On Saturday, January 25, our Lady Titan Wrestling Team won Arcadia's first trophy for wrestling. With only four girls competing, it took a tremendous effort as all four girls earned medals in their respective weight classes.
Senior Fernanda Moreno took the 4th place medal in the largest bracket at the tournament. Junior Aaliyah Terrazas scored the most team points and snapped up a silver medal. Freshman Raya Christiansen also brought home a silver medal with her dynamic matches. The performance of the team goes to junior Cameron Sanchez, who won Arcadia's first wrestling gold medal by overwhelming her opponent in the final. With these results, Arcadia claimed the 3rd place trophy. Amazing tournament, ladies!
