What we know now about the Scottsdale school district investigations
The Arizona Attorney General's Office filed a procurement-related  lawsuit against the Scottsdale  Unified School District on Feb. 22, one day after Superintendent Denise Birdwell was  placed on leave .
Teachers, parents and residents have sounded alarms on multiple fronts since early 2017. Academic changes, school construction projects and finances are among their concerns.
The school board and Birdwell largely dismissed the complaints, which grew louder.
By year's end, the Arizona Attorney General's Office launched an investigation into the district's use of outside contractors and the district initiated its own review.
The fallout continues, but here's what we know now.  READ MORE >>
