AIMS Testing Schedule for Biology Students

All 9th & 10th Grade Biology Students will complete the test online during their normally scheduled Biology class period. During these two days, we will be using a block schedule. In addition, this is not a timed test so extra time will be afforded to any student who needs it. Please encourage your student to do their best!

Speaker on Education Funding at Hopi PTA Meeting
March 6th, 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Please join us for an evening PTA Meeting in March. Our PTA meeting portion promises to be brief in order to make way for the main event, a visit from AZED101. AZED101 is a non-partisan volunteer group of parents committed to improving education funding in Arizona. They have offered to come speak to our community to help those interested in being informed on the state of education in Arizona.

SUSD hires new superintendent
The Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board approved a contract to hire Dr. John Kriekard as the district's superintendent, it was announced Thursday.   Kriekard came out of retirement to become the district's acting superintendent in May 2018 and will serve through June 30, 2020.  READ MORE >>
SUSD board allocates $4.26M bond money to Navajo repair
At its Feb. 12 meeting, the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board approved $4.26 million worth of restoration and renovation work at Navajo Elementary School, 4525 N. Granite Reed Road, beyond what will be paid for by the school district's insurance company.   READ MORE >>
Annual Arcadia Cares : Food for Kidz Packathon
SATURDAY, MARCH 23, 2019   8:15 A.M. - 1:45 P.M.
Are you looking for ways to help those less fortunate in the Arcadia community - and having fun at the same time? If so, please consider volunteering for the Fifth Annual Arcadia Cares: Food For Kidz Packathon - Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (56th Street/Indian School). The majority of the meals packed will help fill the empty tummies of children and their families in the Phoenix metro area. Volunteers Needed - All ages from three on up are welcome to participate.
