Congratulations to our Film and Broadcast Students for a successful STN Competition

We are so proud of the 13 Film and Live News Students that traveled to Seattle WA this month for the Student Television Network (STN) national broadcasting competition! The students were challenged to make short video projects in only a matter of hours. Each student used their creativity and expertise in completing their projects and making their deadlines, and produced work they were proud of.  They competed against more than 75 schools, and over 1000 students, and attended informational workshops as well.  Each student representing Arcadia High School has to qualify for this exceptional trip with participation in multiple levels of the media comm program. We are so proud of the way you represented Arcadia!

The competing students were: Alexa Teneyck, Avery Moric, Brendan Weinerth, Carson Forney, Dash McDonald, Etoile Scofield, Grace Woehler, Isaac Munoz, Jocelynn Pearson, Lainey Durchslag, Lindsay Formica, Nicole Martin and Rachael Schulman. The Arcadia chaperones for the trip were Mandy Turner and Eric Luse.   Check out the short documentary the students created here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaWFflXLxfs
