Enrich Your Family
Host an Exchange Student

AFS Intercultural Programs, the oldest and largest high school exchange organization, is looking for an Arcadia family to host an AFS exchange student for the 2019-20 school year.  These outstanding young people are eager to experience what it's like to live in America. Hosting a student is something your family can do to create more understanding in the world. It's also a great way to add an international branch to your family tree!
Hosting is an adventure that helps broaden your family's understanding of the world without leaving home. You learn to see your own world through new eyes. AFS Intercultural Programs brings more than 2,300 students from over 50 countries to the US each year.  AFS volunteers help you select just the right student for your family. Then they support you and your student so that you will gain the most from your time together. Host families provide a bed, meals and the same love and guidance they give their own children.  Students arrive with medical insurance and their own spending money.
