MUST Return Books to Register at AHS Next Year!
You will regret putting it off!
Did you know that students will not be able to register for Arcadia High School 2018-19 if they have any unreturned textbooks, library books, athletic gear, or fees on their account. Seriously ... this affects students every year, and it's not fun for anyone.
Search under the bed so you can enjoy the summer.

Final Auction Results
Thanks to all those that helped make the auction a smashing success.  We were able to raise $60,000 thanks to the efforts of our very generous community, not only financially, but also many hours of hard work. We have already started funding many teacher projects, such as literature book sets, AP conferences, Media Comm equipment, enhanced teaching technology and much more.  Thank you for supporting our school!
Many Thanks to our Project Grad Volunteers
Tomorrow the seniors will graduate and head off the Cracker Jax for a safe,  fun filled, free of alcohol and drug night (and into the early morning). Thank you in advance to our Project Grad co-chairs, Julie Flatley and Angie Jakubowski, who have been working on this event for months.  And many thanks to all those who helped by working at the event, for the event and donated to the event.

Arcadia One Lunch Volunteers Opportunity
Contact Karen Treon at  ktreon@gmail.com
Arcadia's One Lunch allows everyone on campus to eat at
the same time. This allows for club meetings, extra help from teachers, informational meetings . . . all kinds of good things.  This wouldn't be possible without parents helping with lunch duties.  It is a fun and popular volunteer commitment.  Volunteers have a shift - typically once every other week but some people work only once a month - and they choose to work at the lunch carts, the lunch kiosk, or in the cafe as the line monitor.  We have some great spots left - including the coveted kiosk shifts!

SUSD school board president isn't laughing over parody account, sues for $1.5M
A critic is spoofing the elected leader of the troubled Scottsdale school district, but Governing Board President Barbara Perleberg isn't laughing. She's suing for $1.5 million.
Perleberg filed a lawsuit April 30 in Maricopa County Superior Court against the anonymous writer of a PerlebergforSUSD.com parody blog and Twitter account. The critic parodying Perleberg writes posts like, "Sometimes, you must set a forest fire to save the forest, and that is what I'm doing at SUSD. Burning it down to save it."   READ MORE >>
