Attendance Appeals Due TODAY by 12:20 pm
It is that time of year again! Please submit your Attendance Appeal Letter to your grade level administrator by May 15th by 12:20 pm if you were placed on an Attendance Contract this Spring Semester. Remember, if you do not turn in Attendance Appeal Letter, your credit or credits will be denied. It is essential that the Attendance Committee has this additional information to make an informed decision. Please refer to the Arcadia Website for additional details. Thank You!
Return Books, Calculators, Equipment, Etc.
Students with fees, unreturned equipment, unreturned textbooks from any SUSD school will not be allowed to register for AHS 2019-20 until fees, books, equipment are paid/returned. Contact the AHS front office with questions on fees at 480-484-6300. 
Yearbooks for Sale for $80
Do you still need to purchase an AHS yearbook for this year? Yearbooks will be handed out soon, but that doesn't mean you are out of luck! Purchase yours from Mrs. Blaker in the front office.
NHS Students Request Water Donations
Arcadia families, help keep everyone hydrated at graduation and help support NHS at the same time!  NHS is looking for donations of cases of bottled water to sell at graduation.  Please deliver to the front office.  Thank you!

SUSD Summer School
Summer School is available for students residing in Arizona entering grades 9-12. Attending SUSD Summer School is a great option for students who want to complete course credit, replace a poor grade or to learn a semester of content within a three-week timeline. Summer School offers many courses in an online and in-person and are taught by certified teachers.

AHS Bring Change to Mind Club
2 Phoenix-area high schools start mental health awareness clubs
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Two Arizona high schools are working to put a focus on mental health.  Arcadia High School and Hamilton High School are the first schools in Arizona to use a program called  Bring Change to Mind It's a club in which students bring awareness to mental health.  "It's all about erasing the bad name for mental health and getting rid of the stigma and offering a more accessible platform for students at school to join something like this," said Lauren O'Rourke, the president of the club at Arcadia.   READ MORE >>

Freshmen, you have arrived! Arcadia High School welcomes you to what will hopefully be the first of many incredible high school memories throughout your next four years. During the two-day camp, you will learn more about your new campus, preview some of the Arcadia teachers & staff, plus, you will get to hang out with Titan seniors that have the inside scoop on how you can have an awesome first year in high school.

Senior Picnic THIS FRIDAY!
It is just two weeks away and will be a great time with food donated by Doughbird and Zoyo, huge water slides, music, basketball, corn hole, and more!  YOU MUST TURN IN THE PICNIC WAIVER PRIOR TO THE EVENT TO BE ADMITTED!  The waiver can be found on the senior page of the Arcadia website and printed out OR there are hard copies available in the office.  Please turn in your waiver at the front office as soon as possible.

The Senior Picnic is scheduled for May 17th and will be a fun day of water slides, corn hole, basketball, and more!  There will be a DJ to keep everyone entertained and we have Zoyo and Doughbird hosting all the delicious food!  We need at least a dozen parents to help this great day run smoothly!  If you are able to volunteer between 10 am and 2:00 pm on May 17th, please contact Linda Schlenker at  LindaLouSchlenker@mac.com or 602-576-3828. Project Grad forms are available on the senior page of the Arcadia website /OR/ hard copies are available in the front office.  There are three forms for Project Grad:  A registration form, a Crackerjax Waiver, and a Project Grad waiver form.  These forms and payment must be turned into the office in order to participate in Project Grad.  Questions? Arcadia Lacrosse is pleased to announce that FOUR Arcadia students were named by the Arizona Lacrosse League as All-Stars by opposing team coaches and were invited to play in the League All-Star game last Friday night.  Our All-Stars are: Senior: Tucker Loftin, Junior: Bo Cardon, Sophomore: Nixon Nolan and Freshman: Mason Wilson. Congrats boys!
To add to the honors, Tucker Loftin was one of only 3 students in the entire league to be chosen as an ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN by the Arizona Chapter of US Lacrosse and was named to the All-State, 2nd team.

What a great way to end our season!
