No Parking at Safeway
Let us remember to be good neighbors!
Arcadia families, please remind your students to not park at the Safeway plaza.  It has become a problem again for the merchants in that plaza and they do not want to have to resort to towing and ticketing.  The merchants have had complaints from their customers. One specific example was from an elderly customer that had a difficult time parking far away from her destination and walking in the heat.
PSAT Registration Deadline 9/7
Test October 24th morning
Purchase the exam at the bookstore for $20.00. Please do not hesitate, as we will be unable to sign up after this date! If you have any questions, please communicate with Asst Principal Bell.

... AHS Sophomores will take this test FOR FREE on October 24th.
... October 24th will be a LATE START schedule for all non-test takers. Schedule to be announced.
Host Families Needed

Does your student need a bit of help with their homework? Or just a quiet place to finish their homework? Head to the library after school to get a little extra help from Arcadia teachers. Check with your own math teacher to see if they are a FAST tutor.
One Lunch Needs 3 Volunteers
Contact Karen Treon at  ktreon@gmail.com
The PTO has 25 lunch volunteers on campus every week to ensure that our ONE LUNCH program remains a thriving tradition. ONE LUNCH allows students and teachers to eat at the same time - so clubs can meet, students can get help, teams can have meetings, and events can be held.  We need three more volunteers to fill up our schedule!  One of these slots is for a once a month volunteer shift and the other two are for every-other-week slots. It's fun, it's easy, and it's a rare opportunity to be on campus.  If you would like more information about the available shifts or would like to be on the sub list, please contact Karen Treon at  ktreon@gmail.com .
