Nurse's Corner
If your teenager is missing immunizations or you have not yet sent a copy of recent vaccines your child will NOT be allowed to be on campus.  Please PLEASE forward the updated and scanned documents to arcadianurse@susd.org or mail to the school with the attention to the Nurse.

If you are not sure please email the nurse to make sure your student's account has been updated if you have recently emailed information.

Please know that your student must wear a mask the ENTIRE day they are on campus on return on October 12th.  Masks will only be allowed off if your student is eating or drinking.  Please make sure that your student has a traditional mask and not a gaiter, a scarf, or a mask with vents.  Please contact the nurse at arcadianurse@susd.org if you have questions regarding this.  Please look to provide your student with extra masks in their backpack and or car in the case they forget.   CLICK IMAGE FOR CLARIFICATION on MASK TYPES
Banner Health Poison Control has released a warning of a teen challenge on TikTok.  The challenge is to take enough Benadryl to hallucinate. Unfortunately, some teens are experiencing life threatening consequences such as irregular heart rates, seizures, stoke coma, and there was a death http://bannerhealth.mediaroom.com/benadrylchallenge.

Please talk to your teenagers regarding the danger of taking any medication without parental supervision and following random information that they find online without discussion with a parent/ guardian/ medical professional.

Reminders for when In Person Class Resumes

Feel Sick? Stay Home!  - from the school nurse
When on campus school begins, please do not send your student to school with headache, fever over 100 degrees, runny nose, congestion, sore throat, chills, aches, diarrhea, lost of taste or smell, chest pain or pressure, cough, nausea or vomiting. If your student comes to school with these symptoms your student will be sent home. Please have updated emergency contacts information on your student's account.

Masks Required
In anticipation of school campuses opening once the metrics indicate it is safe to do so, families will need to have a supply of masks on hand for their student(s). ADHS is offering a package of free masks. To see if you qualify and to place an order for your household, click here.  Please get your student accustomed to wearing a mask all day as this will be a mandated requirement when we do return in person.  Masks must be fitted and not have valves, and gaiters and scarves are not allowed.

Student Drop off / Pick up
- Do not drop students off in the front parking lot -
- After passing the front parking lot, please create two lines of traffic -
We thank you for being courteous drivers. We understand it's a stressful 15 minutes. It's important to keep students safe as they walk from cars & the parking lot.

Student Parking When School Returns In Person
- Do not park in Safeway parking lot. Students WILL BE TOWED -
Please remind students to park legally and safely in the surrounding neighborhood. We strive to be good neighbors, and we rely on parents to help their students understand what it means to be courteous and safe drivers/parkers.
