Archangel Motorsports Joins Forces with Adelie Technik
ST. LOUIS, MO (January 17, 2020) -  Going from strength to strength, Archangel Motorsports has announced Adelie Technik as a partner of the St. Louis-based team. The partnership will see Adelie Technik President, Zach Holloway join team founder, Mike Johnson as a co-owner of the operation.

Adelie Technik is a professional services and IT consulting firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. The company is focused on delivering strategic solutions including system deployment, network design and implementation, Wi-Fi engineering and installation, and full Datacenter builds.
As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern (SDVOB), Adelie is able to operate directly with the government or as a sub-contractor to systems integrators and information technology system manufactures.

"Adelie is pleased to partner with Archangel Motorsport. Mike [Johnson] is a consummate professional in the sports car world and I’m proud to continue as an owner of the team." said Adelie Technik President, Zach Holloway.” Information systems are becoming more complex and critical. Technical expertise is the deciding factor in mission success. This parlays into the technical precision of motorsports and shows the synergy generated by having the right team of engineers supporting your program."
The alliance will start with the team’s No. 7 VOLT Lighting Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport entry in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. This expands upon a relationship that began two years ago, when the Florida-based company sponsored Mike Johnson-led programs in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship's Michelin Endurance Cup.

“I am very excited to have Zach and his wife Sara become co-owners with me at the re-born Archangel Motorsports,” said Archangel Motorsports Principal, Mike Johnson. “Adelie Technik has sponsored cars I have managed for the last 2 years and his passion for the team and racing makes him an excellent partner for our new programs going forward. Starting a race team is no easy feat, and having someone with a business and technical background will be a huge asset as we build for the future.”

The No. 7 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport will take flight Friday, January 24th for the four-hour IMPC season opener at Daytona International Speedway. The green flag will drop for drivers, Alan Brynjolfsson and Trent Hindman at 1:10PM EST. Live US coverage can be found at TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold. IMSA Radio commentary and timing and scoring data is available on IMSA.com.
