Mr. Dave Mueller
Principal's Corner

We're in the midst of an especially busy time at McNicholas: Open House, the beginning of the second quarter, the conclusion of fall sports and the beginning of winter sports, performances of The Diary of Anne Frank, college applications, and more. During Advisory today the whole school "pressed pause" to reflect on our blessings and thank God for them. We were led by this video guide for an Ignatian Examen provided by Jeff Hutchinson-Smyth, our Campus Minister. We are grateful for your support for McNicholas. We invite you to use the video to pray along with students, faculty, and staff today.

After Prom Meeting - Looking for New Volunteers!
Even though it feels like spring is a long way away, it's time to start preparing for After Prom 2020! Quite a few of our parent volunteers will be 'graduating' next spring as they send their youngest students off to college so we're looking for some new faces! We'd love to have freshman, sophomore and junior parents join us to learn the ropes and so that we can keep the amazing After Prom tradition going in future years. (Of course, senior parents are welcome with open arms, too!) There are many, many different ways to volunteer for After Prom. And, you don't have to attend After Prom to get involved. We can find something to meet any parent's schedule or interests. Volunteering for After Prom is a great way to meet and spend time with other McNick parents, and the result is an incredible event that keeps our kids safe. If you are interested in learning about After Prom volunteer opportunities, please join us at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7 in the library at McNick. Can't make the meeting but interested in more information? Please contact Kirsten Hagenbarth at khagenbarth@gmail.com.

Get involved with PTSA!
Click here for a list of our events and meetings. All meetings are open, everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend!
