Upcoming Architecture Classes

Our architecture classes have exploded in popularity as they transport students virtually or in person to different iconic destinations.

Having just concluded Must-See Buildings in the U.S., Francis Morrone next sets his sights on the architecture buff's bucket list of Must-See Buildings in Europe (Courses 12353 through 12367), complete with directions and the occasional restaurant recommendation for those planning to visit. View the famous structures and surroundings in Greece, Italy, England, and France through carefully chosen photographs and illustrations while learning about the each building's history and occupants. The series meets on Wednesdays at 1pm, starting January 24, 2024. Each class requires separate registration. Morrone's online lectures will be recorded and sent to registered students for viewing on demand within a week of the class. Even if you are unable to attend live, be sure to register so you can receive the link to watch the video.

Closer to home, Ginny Poleman will tour Grand Central Terminal (12368) on Thursday, January 25, 2024, and Farley Post Office and Penn Station's New Moynihan Train Hall (12369) on Thursday, March 14, 2024. These two beaux arts transportation hubs have both form and function. Meander through these stations to absorb the history and beauty of these New York landmarks. Register now to ensure your spot. Walking tour class sizes are limited to ensure a personalized experience.
