Fall Lecture Series Recap

By: Brent Stebbins, AIA

The 2014 AIA Central PA Fall lecture was held on November 13th at Armstrong World Industries World Headquarters with Frank Harmon, FAIA presenting "Glass, Grits and Steel - Building in the Middle South". As Residential Architect Magazine noted, "Frank Harmon has spent the past three decades fine-tuning his thoughtful, regional modernism" and these themes were woven throughout his lecture. As an Architect, Professor, and Artist he has been a champion of these ideals throughout his career and they are clearly represented in his work.

His reflections on what he observed while visiting our area are shared in his December 2, 2014 Native Places entry.
