Open Role: Strategic Communications Manager, Full-Time

Arcora Foundation is dedicated to improving health equity by partnering with communities to prevent oral disease, transform health systems and increase access to dental care. To help us achieve this reality, we're hiring a Strategic Communications Manager!

This full-time role will be responsible for leading the Foundation’s communications strategies across the organization as well as developing, executing, and evaluating external awareness and behavior change campaigns, including The Mighty Mouth.

Let Moms Know: The Earlier You Start, The Easier It Is
The Mighty Mouth aims to reduce health inequities by prioritizing populations at high risk for oral disease, including lower-income people during pregnancy and moms with young children. A recent Marketing for Change focus group found that moms know the importance of oral health for their kids. However, busy schedules and the demands of parenthood mean it can be tricky to get good oral health habits to stick.

To support parents and their busy lifestyles, The Mighty Mouth produced videos with real moms to share hacks on starting good habits early, including choosing water over juice and visiting the dentist by age 1. In 2020, these videos garnered over 2 million aggregate views!

The Mighty Mouth spring ad campaign wraps up at the end of May, but you can share these fun, engaging hacks with your audience anytime! Visit The Mighty Mouth’s YouTube page to access these campaign videos and many others around good oral health. And don’t forget to follow the campaign on Facebook and Twitter. Help us spread the word: you are healthier with a healthy mouth.
