Starting This Week: AMC 10 Intensive Practice
Ardent Academy will offer a four-week intensive prep course for 7-10 grade students to prepare for the AMC 10. It is designed to be a rigorous review for students to practice test-taking strategies and go over topics covered on the exam. This class is not for students previously enrolled in Winter Math Olympiad Bootcamps.

Dates: January 12-February 2, 2020

Last Chance! 2020 AMC 10/12 Exam A/B

OC Math Council and OC Math Circle will host the AMC 10/12 Exam A and B for all eligible students (10th grade and below for the AMC 10 and 12th grade and below for the AMC 12). The cost of participation for $20 for each student to cover administrative expenses and future events for STEAM for All. There is no refund for cancellations or no-shows.

Last Chance! 2020 F=ma Exam A/B

Ardent Academy will be hosting the 2020 F=ma A and B exams. These exams are open to the public. Students who meet the qualifying score on the F=ma exam will advance to the USA Physics Olympiad Semifinal Exam.
  • F=ma A: Thursday, January 23, 2020 / Register Here 
  • F=ma B: Tuesday, January 28, 2020 / Register Here
  • Time: 6:00-7:30 PM
  • Location: Ardent Northwood, 820 Roosevelt, Irvine, 92620
  • Notes:
    • There is a $25 registration fee per each test.
    • No makeups or refunds will be given for cancelled exams.
    • Students must bring their student ID and may bring a handheld scientific calculator with memory cleared of data and programs.
    • The deadline to register for the F=ma exam is Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 11:59PM.

Last Chance! 2020 USA Biology Olympiad

Ardent Academy will be hosting the 2020 USA Biology Olympiad (USABO) competition in February 2020! This competition is open to students in grades 9-12. Those who earn the qualifying score on the Biology Olympiad exam will advance to the USA Biology Olympiad Semifinals.
  • Time: Thursday, February 13, 2020 @ 6:00-7:15 PM
  • Location: Ardent Woodbridge, 3500 Barranca Parkway, Suite 220, Irvine, 92606
  • Registration: Students must register with both Ardent Academy and USABO in order to participate. Registration on USABO's website closes January 18, 2020. Ardent registration closes when all spots have been filled.

Last Chance! 2020 New Year Invitational
Hosted by the OC Math Circle, the New Year's Invitational is an annual math tournament open to all students in grades 6-8. Similar to MATHCOUNTS, this free event includes two individual rounds to test students' problem solving skills, a team round to examine students' collaboration skills, and a countdown round to put students' accuracy and speed to the test.
