Mandatory Trainings
End of the year is approaching fast! Make sure you schedule time to complete your mandatory trainings (Anti-Harassment and Bias) in RedVector before the due date of December 2nd.
Taking Time Off
Also, now is the time to make sure you have your remaining PTO scheduled. Remember, only 40 hours will be allowed to carry-over into next year. Time off is an incredibly important part of a healthy work/life balance. Schedule your PTO today and be sure to coordinate with your project team and supervisor!

We want to assure you that you are not alone. Do not be afraid to reach out if you are feeling overwhelmed. We have an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that is free and anonymous. Information can be found on the intranet, or you can contact HR directly. We commit to listening and providing free assistance, connecting you to the resources you may need. The Annual Resume Update Process has begun! You should have received information regarding updates to your resume that are due to your supervisor November 30th. Pay special attention to the following:
- Is the project description written with enough detail to adequately identify the scope of work and the employee’s role?
- Are accurate project dates included?
- Are there any significant projects missing from the resumes?
- Does the introduction paragraph adequately describe the employees’ role on the project?

Ardmore Roderick is part of the team awarded this $1.7+ billion, destination casino, entertainment and hotel offering on the 30-acre Chicago Tribune Publishing Center at Chicago Avenue and Halsted. The project will transform this currently underutilized site into a major economic driver for the City of Chicago. Ardmore Roderick will be providing owner’s representative services!

School is Back in Session! AR has officially kicked off our School Partnership Program with Benjamin E. Mays Elementary! On the first day of school AR team members greeted students and passed out popsicles, congratulating them on the start of a new school year. In September, Rashod led our first monthly STEM Workshop at the school, introducing students to engineering and explaining what AR does.
In the upcoming months we will continue to have monthly workshops led by our engineers. We will also be putting together a field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry in the winter, and start planning for the school science fair in the spring.

On September 10th, AR team members volunteered to help build a home with Habitat for Humanity in West Pullman, Chicago.
Habitat wanted to share the following message with our volunteers: “We wanted to reach out and thank you all for coming out to the build site! Our construction crew was absolutely thrilled with the incredible work your team accomplished. We are just so grateful for all you have done to help our families and the West Pullman community build strong, stable futures. We look forward to continuing this mission together in the hopes that, one day, everyone in our city will have a decent place to call home.”
