Technology has changed the way we plan and execute business
events but now technology will give us a bird's eye view of our attendees.
One of the top trends to emerge for event management for 2018 is the use of drones to capture the event experience. Tech savvy marketers are seeing the benefit of taking to the air to capture an aerial view of the event, the attendees and the grand scale of the experience. Drones also give business leaders the opportunity to stream their event live - video images will send your event viral - across the globe.
Imagine having a pictorial record of your event from the roof. What a great way to showcase the scope of your event. Using a combination of traditional photography and video add depth to your event.

Before you are sold on using drones for your next event, make sure you research the flying requirements.
Know Before You Fly offers extensive information and resources to make sure you are using the drone in compliance with FAA regulations. Here are just a few of the requirements:

They are also a great addition to indoor events. Richard Reid, vice president of business development for Freeman
a meetings management company, uses drones for a variety of event management reasons:
"We can capture how everything is built out in a space like banners, signage and sponsorships," he says. "It captures the essence of an event, and those who have used drones for this purpose have declared it well worth the money they've spent to attract exhibitors." (MeetingsToday.com)
