Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide. It is also the principle cause of death from cancer among women globally. The World Health Organization reports that one-third of these cancer deaths could be decreased if detected and treated EARLY. In a worldwide context, this means nearly 400,000 lives could be saved every year.

The FIRST density reporting law was enacted in Connecticut in 2009, inspired by my story of advance stage 3C breast cancer within weeks of a normal mammogram.  Following Connecticut's global leadership in breast health, thirty-two states have enacted a density reporting law and the reintroduction of a federal reporting bill is pending.

Your donation  to our non-profit organization, Are You Dense Inc., assists with our life-saving mission. Donations received by Thursday, June 8th will be acknowledged in the Are You Dense MusicFest Program Booklet. Please donate HERE.

Heartfelt appreciation to our local and global sponsors. Supporting the AYD MusicFEST demonstrates their belief in our global mission of density education and reporting to prevent late stage disease and in turn decrease mortality.

We also acknowledge the generous support of our Pink Ribbon Partners: The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, Philips and FujiFilm Medical Systems.

With your support, the work of Are You Dense Inc. eliminates grief by changing destinies.

With heartfelt thanks,
Nancy
