Camp HOPE America?

Hello Friends,
Camp HOPE America is the first camping and mentoring program in the country focused on children impacted by domestic violence. We are slowly building a national model for bringing our successful, evidence-based approach to communities across the United States. At present, we have the opportunity to target specific cities across the country to begin the journey toward starting a Camp HOPE America program. Unfortunately, we are not currently making our program available to other cities. In the future, we plan to offer partnerships to other locations.
The first step in our development of a Camp HOPE America site involves a Readiness Grantee year. We have selected nine new sites this year but have additional capacity. Currently, we are looking to find ten more sites in 2018 to join our vision and engage in a year-long preparation process before starting a Camp HOPE America program in 2019. Potential applicants must be working with trauma-exposed adults and children in one of the communities listed below. We are sorry that no other cities are eligible at this time for our 2018 Readiness Grantee program.

Alliance for HOPE International has the opportunity to offer $10,000
to help selected sites undergo a year of learning and mentorship to prepare them to run Camp HOPE America in their communities during the summer of 2019.
Among other things, the Readiness Grantee Program includes technical assistance with the Camp HOPE America team, monthly webinars and the opportunity to spend a week seeing our program in action at Camp HOPE America - California.
