Your accounting work involves a lot of repetition: sending invoices, paying bills, creating purchase orders, generating payroll checks and submitting payroll taxes. AND REPEAT.

Some of the time, you only fill out those transaction forms once. You might be doing a one-time purchase, like paying for some new office furniture. Other times, though, you're paying or charging the same companies or individuals on a regular basis.

QuickBooks contains a shortcut for those recurring tasks, called  Memorized Transactions. You can save the details that remain the same every time, and use that template every time the bill or invoice is due, which can save a lot of time and improve accuracy.

On May 31, 2017, Intuit will discontinue support for QuickBooks Financial Pro, Premier, QuickBooks for Mac 2014, and QB Enterprise 2014. You can continue to use these solutions, of course, but Intuit live technical support and add-on services like payroll, credit card processing, online banking and bill-pay are no longer accessible. We will continue to support all versions but recommend that you upgrade when you can.
