Thanks to our RPAC investors, NJ Realtors® were able to work with our bi-partisan REALTOR® friendly politicians, on this bill since 2016 and successfully hav the time-of-sale requirement removed from the bill (takes effect July 2022.)

Were time-of-sale requirements not removed, lead paint inspections could have cost between $500.00 to $1,000.00 and abatement costs between $20,000.00 to $40,000.00 or more per dwelling. We could have lost the opportunity to help an owner sell their home!
