Tip of the Week

Take Time for Health

You might not know there is a direct correlation between health challenges and decreased productivity. If you and your team members are not taking care of your personal health, your business might be suffering.

Here are some tips to keep your health on the front burner:

  • Set an alarm and move every 50 minutes. Sitting for prolonged periods of time can put your health at risk.
  • Try a desk or computer stand that lets you work from a standing position.
  • Consider "walk and talk" meetings that allow you to get outside or at least walk around in the building.
  • Have a "no eating at your desk" policy.
  • Set up a company-wide fitness challenge.
  • Buy new office chairs that offer better support.
  • Lead by example! Your team members will follow suit.

Grow Your Business and Increase Your Sales Through Exporting

Hosted by: SCORE Broward County

When: Wednesday, March 5 | 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Cost: Complimentary

Nearly 95% of the world’s population lives outside the United States, which means additional sales growth is likely from exporting. Among the advantages:

  • Exporting is a business that can be started by anyone with a good idea and product.
  • There is a limitless market (the main advantage of exporting).
  • Foreign markets can offer higher prices and better margins.
  • There are government benefits available for exporters.
  • Payments can be received faster in exporting than in the local market.
