It’s May, and that means stunning vista of wildflowers, lush grasslands, and budding trees. It’s also often a month of contrasts, with days and weeks of extreme weather and rapid temperature shifts. Something for everyone, and much to be ready for!


Saturday, May 3 is Wildfire Preparedness Day and kicks-off Wildfire Awareness Month activities to raise awareness and help everyone be as ready as possible for the seasons ahead. We’re sharing all kinds of great info and resources for people and their critters.


Join us, along with the NFPA and your local firefighters, to help keep animals and their people safer. Wildfires happen year-round, and you can stay prepared by chipping away at prep and planning throughout the year.
