Project Spotligh t - Backyard Master Plan
Located in a quiet neighborhood of Ellicott City lies a homeowner who was looking for a backyard transformation that would be suitable as an outdoor living space for their family and friends.

After the initial design and planning stage, we are well underway with what will be an incredible transformation.

With the centerpiece of a custom-shaped, heated swimming pool and pool deck. we will also be incorporating a composite steps and landing area using Trex Transcends deck boards. An open-air pavilion with recessed lighting will also match the existing rooftop of the home and allow the homeowner to enjoy their new outdoor kitchen and bar.

Segmental retaining walls, landscape plants and a river rock bed will bring the entire design together as their friends and family can enjoy the pergola/swing and hammock.

A full drainage system will be installed as well and a pool fence that secures the yard.

“Your Spruce Tree is Dead”
Spruces trees can be found all throughout the Maryland region. They are widely known for their vibrant color and ability to provide an incredible natural barrier.

However, there has been an increase in fungal diseases among spruce trees. From weather, needle casting disease, and other environmental factors, there are many reasons why this may happen.
