Dear Christian Warriors:

In the midst of global interest in one man, Charles, and his mother the Queen, this is a time to be tested to see if you and I are members of His Royal Priesthood, an eternal group, open to all, already established by the King of kings and the Lord of lords.  

One key test is: are you "CONVERTED"?

The Lord Jesus made it clear that conversion is necessary to get into heaven: " At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, ' Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?' Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are CONVERTED and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.' "   Matthew 18: 1-3

Once a person has repented, then he or she can be truly converted. Conversion follows repentance. Peter in his sermon on Pentecost made it very clear: " Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.  But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fufilled.  Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord..." Acts 3: 17-19.

Paul then confirms this sequence in Acts 26: 19-20: " 'Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance." 

King David is also a model for this. After  our own sincere repentance we can then teach others, and sinners can be converted.  In Psalm 51 , after he asks the Lord to blot out his transgressions, and to wash him thoroughly from his sins, he asks the Lord to "create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.  Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.  Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You."      Psalm 51: 10-13
