Behavioral Health Innovator's PASS (Positive Alternative to School Suspension) Program seeks is hiring! |
We are piloting an intervention program on Cape Cod to provide a positive alternative to school suspension for high school students. Participating students will be assessed and those struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, and/or trauma will be referred for appropriate support services.
Based on over four years of primary research and need identification, our proposal is to develop a pilot PASS (Positive Alternative to School Suspension) program in Barnstable County, MA. The program, which was successfully launched two years ago on the North Shore of Massachusetts, is an intervention model for students who face in-school or out-of-school suspension for non-violent offenses.
