Statistics tell us that 40 percent of all American women ages 15-44 have had at least one abortion. And on average, 1 out of every 3 women in our churches are often suffering in silence because of their past abortion experience(s) and do not know how to approach God and receive His healing and forgiveness, and then to learn how to forgive themselves.
Daybreak LifeCare Center is fervently working to end the hopelessness and shame of post-abortive women and to help them find complete freedom through the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Beginning March 5, on Tuesday evenings through May 21, Daybreak is offering a Post-Abortion Recovery Bible Study and Support Group for women who have been impacted by the loss of a child to abortion. In this small group led by facilitators who have themselves experienced the pain of abortion, the participants are invited to confidentially share their thoughts and feelings with other post-abortive women in a safe, non-judgmental space. During the 11-week Bible study, participants will work through their past grief and pain from abortion, accept God’s grace and forgiveness through the study and application of His Word, and find forgiveness for themselves, thus being set free! “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36 NIV
