Maryland, Too Many Politicians, Not Enough Leaders
April 9, 2013
Contact: Karla Graham
Paula and I would like to thank you for your continued support, prayers, and well-wishes. Your kindness continues to inspire us, and we cannot thank you enough.
As many of you know, these are challenging times for the state of Maryland. Over 200,000 of our fellow Marylanders are out of work. The unemployment rate has remained above 6 percent since 2008. Our economy is stagnant, our state is bankrupt, and our education system is failing the neediest of our children.
It is time to rebuild our state once again. It is not enough to talk about change, we must implement it. Compassion through intentions is inadequate, we need real solutions. Maryland is suffering from too many politicians and not enough leaders. We are fighting a Democratic machine that puts their faith and trust in government, and not in you. We are being governed by a class of political cowards who treat your wallet as their expense account and your liberty as their gift.
We must not stand idly by and watch our state go into decline because of misguided policies. We did not choose this battle, but we welcome it. Our future and our children's futures are at stake. This is more than just a campaign; it is a movement to rebuild our state.
This is our moment, and this is our time. I ask you to join me on this journey, and together secure a better future for our state. Please donate $25, $50, or even $100 TODAY.
Are you in?
Frank Howard is the Chairman of the organization committee, Marcia Diehl is the Treasurer, and Ayobami Olugbemiga is the Director of Communications
