September 2019
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! We hope your summer was filled with relaxing fun!

A few items to remember that were announced at the Back to School Night:

  • Mrs. Schoenrock is asking for donations of "white or off-white sheets - that's it." If you have items for her, please bring them to the main office.
  • Drop off/arrival - main entrance doors will open at 7:30am. The doors will remain locked until then. Please do not use the commons doors as these are for bus arrival only and vehicle traffic will not be allowed from 7:30-8:00am in this lot.
  • Pickup/departure - main entrance doors open at 3:00pm. Adults will need to remain in the lobby outside the main office to wait for the arrival of students. Again, the commons doors will be for bus use only.
  • Students that drive need to park in the student lots.

Welcome Mr. Wilsens
We'd like to welcome Mr. Wilsens as our new School Counselor! Mr. Wilsens is new to Elcho School and will be also taking on JV/Varsity Volleyball Assistant Coach this fall.

A letter from our new School Counselor:
Hello Elcho School,
My name is Scott Wilsens, and I am the new school counselor and JV volleyball coach. I am so excited to begin the school year and meet the students and families of Elcho. I would like to share a little about myself before I get to know all of you. I grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin and attended high school at New Berlin West. I obtained my bachelors degree in psychology at Carroll University and went on to earn my masters degree in clinical counseling with an emphasis in school counseling, at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. During my time in college, I worked as an assistant volleyball coach for Carroll University and Waukesha South High School. I also worked as a substitute teacher in multiple districts. I decided to move up to the Elcho area because I absolutely adored the people I met during my interview. Everybody I met was warm and welcoming. I also enjoy the small town feel of the area compared to Milwaukee. I am extremely happy to be a part of this team because I can see the enormous strides they are making to continuously improve the school for their students. I look forward to an amazing school year! Go Hornets!
