Dear Cap-to-Cap Delegation,
As we embark on the 53rd annual Capitol-to-Capitol program, I’m filled with a deep sense of pride and purpose. This year, more than 450 leaders from across the Capital Region will travel to Washington, D.C., as part of the largest delegation of its kind in the nation. Together, we are continuing a powerful legacy—one that brings a unified, solutions-driven voice to the federal stage on behalf of the communities and businesses we serve.
Cap-to-Cap is more than a trip—it’s a testament to regional collaboration. For over five decades, this program has connected public and private sector leaders around a shared mission: to advocate for policies and investments that strengthen our economy, support our workforce, and improve the quality of life for all who call the Capital Region home.
This year, our policy teams are advancing a focused set of priorities critical to our long-term prosperity:
- Advancing and Strengthening Infrastructure Investments and Connecting Capital Communities
- Building the Capital Region’s Workforce
- Cutting Red Tape to Expedite Projects and Increase Economic Efficiencies
With months of preparation behind us, we are ready to bring forward actionable solutions, push for meaningful change, and advocate with one voice. Whether this is your first Cap-to-Cap or your fifteenth, thank you for being part of this collective effort. Your leadership and engagement are what make this delegation so effective—and so impactful.
Our Metro Chamber team is here to support you every step of the way. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can assist you as we gear up for a productive and inspiring week in the nation’s capital.
Thank you for your partnership—and I look forward to seeing you in Washington, D.C.
With gratitude,
Robert Heidt
